I’ve had it

These kids have driven me to the point of insanity with their spilling of drinks on the living room floor when they’re wrestling around & acting silly. Tomorrow I’m buying sippy cups for them. If they want to act like little babies who cannot keep their drink in their cup, I’ll treat them […]

I pick up the keys

& start moving tomorrow night. I’ve got ALMOST everything packed up & ready to go. All the boxes are going tomorrow night & the furniture is being moved on Saturday morning. I should be outta here well before noon on Saturday.
I won’t be able to post much for about a week b/c […]

Central Air

The house I live in now doesn’t have central air. It has 3 window units. 2 of them work. It has an attic fan. I live in Central Oklahoma. It’s been in the mid-90’s and VERY humid here.  Imagine living in someone’s mouth. ICK!
On Saturday, I’m moving. […]

The girls and packing

After my post about donating the girls’ possessions, guess what’s happened?
They’ve PACKED almost everything in their bedroom.
While, I’m glad they’ve taken accountability for their things, I was kind of wishing that we could get rid of some of their stuff that they don’t use often.
The next step will be to throw out boxes that don’t […]

Road crossing turtle did not bring rain

It still has not rained. My theory has been debunked. I’m a little saddened by it. I think I’m going to pretend that it still always rains when I see a turtle crossing the road simply because it’s fun, and well, because I CAN! lol

Packing to move

has been an adventure and a learning experience for me.
My son has completely packed up his bedroom & is ready to move.
The girls are a different story. Their room looks like it’s been hit by a tornado. A BIG ONE! Tonight I spent an hour helping them sort thru things, get rid […]

Titanium - Lubs

Do you see turtles crossing the road often?

I do. I see them a lot when I’m driving to work in the mornings. I don’t drive on the interstate, as you’ve probably guessed. The back roads are much quicker (takes about 15 minutes off the drive), less traffic & more scenic. Besides turtles, I also see buffalo, cows, horses, […]

Chicken Littles (part 2)

This morning at work, someone thought they smelled a natural gas leak. I’m not even sure that our building uses natural gas. I thought it used only electric service.
The flock of Chicken Littles started up again with their gloom and doom predictions. They were all getting headaches from the fumes, we needed to […]
