When the kids left last Sunday, I thought I would clean their rooms.. and our entire home.. really well.
I did not. I didn’t clean a thing.. except the dishes I used.
When the kids called on Thursday night, youngest daughter asked if I had cleaned their bedroom.. I told her I’d not even walked down the hallway to their bedroom.. not once. I think she was shocked.
I enjoyed having a week alone. The kids will be home today. I’m leaving in about 45 minutes and will meet my sister halfway at noon.
The peace & quiet will soon be over and cleaning will commence. LOL
