She’s Laughing

Since I forgot to do the Thursday Thirteen yesterday, I will do Friday Fourteen today:

1. When I was pregnant, I loved grape Kool-aid. I like that flavor now, but it’s not a favorite.

2. Now I tend to drink Crystal Light more. My favorite flavors are Rasberry Ice and Peach Rasberry.

3. I’ve been trying to drink more water, but have been drinking Crystal Light instead most of the time.

4. I’ve always thought it would be cool to have auburn hair. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to just go for it and trade my light brown/blonde hair for auburn.

5. I watched “Must Love Dogs” this week. It’s a cute movie.

6. I’m reading a book called “Shadow Game,” by Christine Feehan.

7. I use a headset at work when talking on the phone, so I don’t constantly hold the phone between my ear & shoulder.

8. Sometimes people think I sound like I’m talking in a tunnel.. if I don’t have the voice tube in the right spot.

9. I love reading the newspaper every day. Since I don’t watch the news, this is my main source of local news.

10. I also keep some of the newspapers, for lining the bottom of Dobby’s cage.

11. I need to start getting to bed earlier. I’ve been tired a lot this week.

12. I’ve been updating my resume this week.. switching from an experience based resume to a skills based resume.

13. I’ve been working on a cash flow plan this week.. isn’t that a nice way to say the dreaded B word? (budget)

14. I’ve been using Dave Ramsey’s envelope system this week for food & gas purchases. I can already tell that it’s making a difference in my spending habits.
