A: Are the people in your department nice to you?
B: Yes.
A: Do they talk to you & stuff?
B: Yes. They say good morning & we talk some throughout the day as we’re working.
A: Oh. Well, I’m looking for a clique to get into.
B: Hmmm… a CLIQUE?
A: Yes.
B: I’d not really call it a clique.. just a group of people who work well together & are kind to each other. I don’t hang out with them after work & all… just talk to them at work. I’m glad I’m in that department. They’re good people.
A: Well… if they don’t talk to you, you can hang with me.
B: Yeah. Uhmmm… O.K.
Person B is in my department. Too bad we’re not accepting applications for the clique, eh?
