Today, I heard a phrase that I don’t often hear anymore.

A customer service representative said, “And the name, if you please.”

If you please.

I cannot remember the last time I heard that.
Such a polite and gracious thing to say, although a bit antiquated.

  1. What a great phrase…but I suppose if I said that in today’s society people would think I was being snobbish. I use a lot of other phrases that could be considered antiquated.
