I went to the dentist today. It had been a long time since I’d gone. 3 1/2 years.
I know, I know. Terrible of me to have neglected it for so long.
I take the kids every 6 months, but somehow I don’t make appointments for myself.
Enough of that!
So, I went.
2 hours later I left with sparkly clean teeth. The good news is that I had less plaque than some patients who go in every 6 months - ewww!
The bad news is that I left with an appointment to have 2 small cavities filled, a cracked tooth repaired, and a referral to an oral surgeon about having my wisdom teeth removed.
I’m not sure if I’m happy that I went or not!
