I posted on March 7, 2006 that I was not the tallest in my home any longer.
Today, I have the smallest feet in my little family. Youngest daughter got shoes that are 1/2 size bigger than mine.
It’s weird to think that all three of my children have bigger feet than mine.
Today is also the 2 month anniversary of the day that youngest daughter was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes.
This past Friday, I got a call from a diabetes pump specialist from the insulin pump company I chose letting me know that the kids’ insurance will pay 100% for the insulin pump and supplies for youngest daughter. I’m faxing a form to the company on Monday and after the doctor faxes in a medical necessity letter, the pump will be shipped & we’ll schedule a time for training at Children’s Hospital.
With oldest daughter’s asthma and youngest daughter’s diabetes, I’m thankful that ex-husband is in the military & has great health & dental insurance for the kids.
