She’s Laughing

I went to WW today and had lost 0.6 pounds. I know that’s not much, but I’m happy with it. While we were in Canada, we ate at Hard Rock Cafe, a little family diner (loaded with fat, I’m sure), McDonald’s, and at the Chili’s in the Chicago O’Hare airport. I ate all of my flex points plus 5 extra during those 4 days in Canada. Oh well. You don’t go on vacation every week, right?

When we were in Toronto, one of my favorite things was the trash bins with sections for recycling. Mom and Chrissie thought I was silly for taking photos of trash bins. I wish we had these things in Oklahoma. I may send these photos to the governor and ask for them. Maybe if a bunch of us Okies get together and send photos and requests to the governor and elected officials, we could help create change.

I spotted recycling bins in Chicago O’Hare, as well. I’m sure loads of cities have these things. I’ve just seen any in the Oklahoma City area.

If you listen to Dori and Val’s podcast, More Hip than Hippie, you know that whenever they talk about Canada, they say, “Eh!” When I was in Toronto, I saw this t-shirt and had to get a photo to share with them. I was cracking up.
