I woke up today with my red eye almost solid red, very puffy, and with lots of sinus pressure behind the eye. By afternoon it had cleared up a bit (with the help of antihistamines and eye drops). Here’s what it looked like about 3 hours ago.

I’m not sure if it’s that I’ve only had two caffeinated drinks since before the surgery (and couldn’t sleep on those nights - not doing that again anytime soon!),
or that I’ve not had aspartame (I think this could have been the cause of my headaches & constant tummy upsets.. either the aspartame or the cola [...]
I’m amazed by how much better I feel. Each day I can see a marked difference in the level of energy I have. I think I feel better today than I have in years!

I went to the doctor today & saw the nurse practitioner. She checked everything out & said I’m healing nicely. She said that the pain & the feeling that everything is falling out is normal for the procedures & repair work that I had done. The stitches are all healing nicely. [...]

I had the surgery on Thursday afternoon. It was a 2 hour procedure. I’m now minus one large uterus. My doctor said a healthy uterus is the size of a small lime. My unhealthy uterus was the size of a large grapefruit. Ick! I’m thankful to be rid of [...]
I’m still tired, but the stresses are gradually being marked off my list.
I bought a car today.
3 days down & only one more to go this week with the 9 hour days.
Less than 36 hours until I get to hug DD11 again.
